This Privacy Policy explains how Prompt Dock (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our web application, APIs, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

• Account details: name, email address, authentication metadata, and organization or team associations.
• Workspace content: prompts, notes, comments, attachments, and metadata you create or upload.
• GitHub integration data: when you connect a GitHub account, we collect and store your GitHub OAuth tokens (encrypted), repository metadata, file contents, commit history, and branch information solely to provide repository synchronization features.
• Usage data: feature interactions, workspace membership activity, Prompt Dock AI Credits usage, and device/session logs.
• Device & technical data: browser type, operating system, IP address, and diagnostic information collected via cookies or similar technologies.
• Billing data: limited payment identifiers handled by our payment processor when you subscribe or purchase Prompt Dock AI Credits.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate and improve the Service, provision workspaces, process payments, allocate AI usage, send transactional communications, provide support, and protect against misuse or fraud. We may send you product updates or marketing communications; you can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following situations:

• With service providers who help us operate the Service (cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics) under contractual confidentiality obligations.
• Within your organization when you collaborate in shared workspaces.
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of Prompt Dock, our users, or the public.

5. AI Providers & API Keys

If you connect your own OpenAI API key we encrypt it at rest and only decrypt it transiently to fulfill your requests. We never use your key outside of requests you initiate. When you choose Prompt Dock AI Credits we route requests through our managed OpenAI account under strict data handling agreements; prompt and response payloads are not used to train OpenAI beyond what their policies require.

6. GitHub Integration

When you connect your GitHub account, we use OAuth 2.0 authentication to securely access your repositories. Your GitHub OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption and stored securely. We only access repository data that you explicitly authorize and solely to provide repository synchronization, file browsing, and commit history features within your Prompt Dock workspaces. We do not modify your repositories, share your repository data with third parties, or use it for any purpose other than providing the requested integration features. You may disconnect your GitHub account at any time from your project settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. When you delete prompts or close your account we delete or anonymize associated content within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, billing, or security reasons.

8. Security

We employ technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please notify us immediately at info@flaresoft.solutions or open a ticket at promptdock.com/support if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your Choices & Rights

You may access, update, or delete most profile information from within the app. Contact us to request additional data access or deletion. Depending on your location you may have rights under data protection laws (such as GDPR or CCPA); we will honor those rights in accordance with applicable regulations.

10. International Data Transfers

We host data in the United States. If you access the Service from other regions, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and its processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

11. Children's Privacy

Prompt Dock is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material we will provide notice via email or in-app alerts. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
