Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Prompt Dock’s web application, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or accessing the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and that it accepts these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Service Access & Availability

We strive to provide reliable access to Prompt Dock, but downtime and planned maintenance may occur. Features may change without prior notice. We may suspend or limit access when necessary to protect the Service or other users.

4. AI Usage & Credits

Prompt Dock supports both bring-your-own OpenAI API keys and platform-provided Prompt Dock AI Credits. You are responsible for all activity performed with your OpenAI key. Premium subscriptions include a bundle of monthly Prompt Dock AI Credits; additional Prompt Dock AI Credits may be purchased on demand. Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and expire as described in the Billing view of the application.

We may monitor aggregate usage to ensure fair access and prevent abuse. Excessive or suspicious activity may result in rate limits, suspension, or revocation of access.

5. GitHub Integration

Premium subscribers may connect their GitHub accounts to sync repository data with their Prompt Dock workspaces. By connecting your GitHub account, you authorize Prompt Dock to access your repositories through GitHub's OAuth 2.0 API solely to provide repository browsing, file viewing, and commit history features. We do not modify, delete, or create content in your repositories. You may disconnect your GitHub integration at any time, and we will immediately stop accessing your repository data and delete cached repository information from our systems within 30 days.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features, such as Premium workspaces and increased Prompt Dock AI Credit allocations, require a paid subscription. Fees are disclosed in-app before purchase and are billed by our payment processor. By subscribing you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide. You may cancel Premium at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code.
• Automate access in a manner that exceeds reasonable request rates.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity.

We may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination.

8. Data Ownership & Content

You retain ownership of the prompts, notes, and other content you upload. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service and related support. We may anonymize and aggregate metadata (such as feature usage patterns) for analytics, provided it does not identify you.

9. Confidentiality & Security

We encrypt API keys, secrets, and other credentials at rest and in transit. You remain responsible for safeguarding downloaded exports or shared workspace content. 10. Term & Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you access the Service. You may terminate your account at any time through the app or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your access with notice if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or present a security risk. Upon termination we will delete or anonymize your content as outlined in our Privacy Policy, subject to legal requirements.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We and our suppliers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that AI-generated outputs will be error-free or suitable for your use case.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prompt Dock and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you via email or in-app messaging. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
